Description: Family Psychological Center, P.A., a private practice serving Harrison, Arkansas, and surrounding areas since 2001 has an opening for a full time Post-Doctoral Resident interested in a diverse, challenging training experience with opportunity for full-time employment following licensure.

FPC, P.A. offers a unique and fulfilling opportunity to further refine assessment and therapy skills within a private practice setting that allows for professional autonomy with an emphasis on work-life balance. A host of nonclinical tasks are fully handled by administrative staff, including coordinating scheduling, billing, computer test scoring, technological support, and facilities maintenance. Clinical duties will focus most extensively on conducting psychological assessments and therapy with child and adolescent patients and their families. Opportunities to work with adult and conduct therapy groups are also available.

Salary for this 52-week (2,000 hour) position will range from $56,000 to $58,000, depending on qualifications, with a generous benefits package that includes mileage reimbursement, two weeks of paid vacation, an employer-matching retirement plan, paid professional liability insurance, and a signing bonus. One hour of individual supervision with a licensed psychologist and the opportunity to complete a two-day training in TF-CBT are also included. The resident will attend one hour of scheduled weekly supervision as well as complete paperwork in accordance with Arkansas Psychology Board requirements prior to beginning the resident year.

Requirements: Applicants are required to have completed an APA-approved internship and have a doctoral degree in psychology. Typical work hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Our office is closed during evenings and weekends.
