Director of Psychology Training Program – Four County
Four County is a growing non-profit Community Mental Health Center currently serving the communities of North Central Indiana since 1975. This position serves as the head supervisor of the psychology training program for predoctoral interns. This position manages the application and selection processes, evaluation processes, clinical supervision plans, management of grievances, and any other processes needed to support the day-to-day operations of the psychology training program. Four County is a member of the National Psychology Training Consortium (NPTC). This position will work in alignment with the NPTC member agreement and via the support of the Regional Training Director. This position is often responsible for performing clinical duties including treatment plan review in addition to administrative work. A person in this position must be willing to work with the targeted population, whether children, adolescents, or adults. A person in this position must be knowledgeable in and must uphold state, federal, and agency laws/standards with regards to the practice of psychology. This position is responsible for presenting a complimentary image of the Center at all times and operates as a role model to Center associates demonstrating uncompromising professional maturity and integrity. This position operates with a large degree of autonomy and must exercise tact, judgment and confidentiality in contact with the public, governmental bodies, other agencies, clients and families, as well as fellow associates of the Center. Work is very broad in scope and requires a high level of professionalism and maturity.
