Course Description and Target Audience

This half-day workshop is designed to increase coding (scoring) proficiency, so as to increase validity of R-PAS (Rorschach Performance Assessment System) test results. Solutions and rationales for common coding errors, questions, and ambiguous responses will be provided.
The target audience is mental health providers (advanced doctoral level psychology trainees, psychologists in practice, master’s level clinicians etc).

Learning Objectives

  • Apply systematic approach to coding Form Quality.
  • Understand and distinguish between MAH, COP, MAP, MOR, AGM, & AGC
  • Accurately code responses that qualify for multiple Cognitive Codes
  • Accurately code ambiguous human, animal, and inanimate movement responses

Presenter Information

Dr. Viglione is a Distinguished Professor at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University in San Diego where he has taught psychological assessment and the Rorschach for more than 30 years. He is the author of a book on Rorschach coding and a co-author of the Rorschach Performance Assessment System. In addition, he has authored or co-authored nearly 100 papers and more than 170 conference presentations, and presented approximately 80 workshops in California, the U.S., and overseas. He also maintains a clinical and forensic assessment practice.
