Want to be one of tomorrow’s psychologists?

Become an intern with NPTC

The National Psychology Training Consortium (NPTC) is a doctoral-level psychology internship program with placement locations in various health settings. Our program began in 2003 as an initiative to increase care for rural and underserved populations and has grown to serve communities in Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, and Washington. Psychology interns are integrated as team members at their placement agency and receive training and support throughout the internship and beyond.

Students wishing to apply can find our programs, or regions, through APPIC. A release schedule of program information can be found below along with additional information about NPTC.

Late June – Consortium Brochure is published with an overview of placement sites
July – Full program information is published on the website and available through APPIC
August – Registration opens for Virtual Open House
September – Virtual Open House takes place throughout the month, each meeting focusing on a different region

Monthly updates including resources for match season will be posted to our Virtual Open House page. You can subscribe to receive notifications about updates by emailing mrichardson@psychologyinterns.org.
