Health Partnership Clinic
Description: The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) at Health Partnership Clinic (HPC) is part of the primary care team of professionals who provides behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, and adults in order to promote wellness and improve psycho-social functioning. - Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health patients in order to determine a working diagnosis and appropriate level of care through utilization of evidence-based practices
- Provide treatment recommendations and assist patients in achieving limited behavioral change goals
- Assist patients in making lifestyle changes (i.e., smoking cessation, weight loss)
- Evaluate crisis situations and apply appropriate interventions
- Actively participate in meetings that support the integrated healthcare model to provide comprehensive services for patients

- Assist the primary care team in developing care management processes, such as the use of guidelines, disease management techniques, and patient education to improve self-management of chronic disease
- Be an active partner in the clinic’s behavioral health program, identifying problems related to patient services and making recommendations for improvement
- Provide a variety of psychoeducational group therapies
- Educate patients, and staff members regarding behavioral and medical care, prevention, and treatment enhancement techniques
Requirements: A Doctoral degree in psychology from a qualified graduate program. Licensed to practice as a psychologist (LSCSW) in Kansas, or be license eligible by way of reciprocity within 30 days of hire date (post-doctoral residents also acceptable). At least three years of experience assessing psychiatric disorders and a clear understanding of the medications used to treat such disorders. Knowledge and experience related to the interaction between physical and psychological diagnoses and appropriate evidence-based interventions. Bilingual (Spanish) is not required, but a bonus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions
- Working knowledge of the diagnostic criteria used in the DSM-V
- Ability to provide effective care by way of brief patient contacts, as well as efficient and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions

Description: This Psychologist position provides direct mental health diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to juveniles and families who come within the jurisdiction of the Family Court. Description: Position available for a Clinical Psychologist in Norfolk, VA. The HCW shall perform a full range of clinical psychology services in accordance with the core privileges and/or supplemental privileges as defined by BUMEDINST 6320.66E and approved by the Commanding Officer. Administer programs of treatment to mentally and emotionally disturbed individual adjustments; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries. U.S. Virgin Islands. - A one (1) year fellowship or residency in health psychology or behavioral medicine.

Counseling Center of Nashua - Outpatient Pediatric and Adult Clinical Neuropsychologist Openings
Description: The Counseling Center of Nashua is seeking two full or part time neuropsychologists, one pediatric neuropsychologist and one adult/geriatric neuropsychologist, to perform comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological batteries. Pediatric referrals include ADHD, learning disorders, emotional/psychological disorders, autism spectrum disorders, post concussive syndrome evaluations, and differential diagnosis of psychological vs. neuropsychological etiology of mood and behavioral dysregulation. Adult referrals include broad outpatient referrals, including memory impairment, early career or work impairment, ADHD, early onset dementia, cognitive impairment associated with medical etiology, and differential diagnosis of psychological vs. neuropsychological etiology of work and relationship impairment. Description: Behavior Management Associates (BMA) is a multi-disciplinary group private practice seeking a psychologist and a neuropsychologist to meet the demands of an expanding practice. BMA was established in 1982 and currently employs five Psychologists, two Licensed Professional Counselors, and a Licensed Social Clinical Worker. All support services are provided including clerical, physical facility, and marketing.
BMA is looking for a full-time psychologist who is licensed or in their post-doctoral residency year and is eligible to be a provisionally licensed psychologist. A typical caseload would include individual and family therapy, marriage counseling, and psychological and educational evaluations. Initially, the psychologist we employ may see clients of all ages and provide a wide range of services including assessment services. However, as the practice builds, the person filling the position will be free to limit their practice to whatever specialty areas or age groups they wish.
BMA also wishs to hire a neuropsychologist. BMA has an established referral network mostly consisting of local neurologists with other referrals sources being primary care physicians and attorneys. There is currently no neuropsychologist providing services in our area.
Our current client population is primarily private pay/insurance, but we also see Medicaid clients. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Therapists may work evenings if they wish. Currently all therapists work on a percent of collections basis. Behavior Management Associates is a NHSC Loan Repayment Program site.
