Great Lakes Supervisor IHC Training
This is the training Drs. Beachy and Bauman provided to the Great Lakes supervisors at the beginning of their grant. If you are not needing CE’s, then feel free to watch these videos and review the materials as you need.
However, if you are wanting to get homestudy CE credit for watching any of these training videos or our trainings listed on the other tab, you will need to contact Ember Carroll (ecarroll@psychologyinterns.org) so that we can set the trainings up to be compliant for homestudy CEs. This requires some additional administration time on our end so there will be a delay in our ability to get these materials to you.

Sustaining Integrated Behavioral Health Services
- This brief guide provides managers with the necessary framework for building integrated teams. Building on the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions (CIHS) resource on Core Competencies for Integrated Care, this document offers HRSA-funded safety-net providers recruitment resources and interview questions to help develop an integrated care staff. Included are techniques to identify behavioral health clinicians with the right skills and qualities to work in integrated care settings, as well as training resources to continue strengthening an integrated care team. Additional resources are provided to support creating teams appropriate to the specific clinical environment.
Sustaining Integrated Behavioral Health Services: A Step-by-Step Guide
- Clients, health care teams, and researchers agree that integrating care promotes a whole-person approach to health with immediate and lasting benefits. Whether just starting to integrate behavioral health services or working to enhance services already in place, the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions has created a step-by-step guide presenting four steps for safety net and other primary care providers to integrate behavioral health services and achieve sustainable integrated care models:
Step 1 – Operational and Administrative Readiness
Step 2 – Workforce Development
Step 3 – Clinical Practice Tools
Step 4 – Sustainability and Continuous Improvement

Addiction Technology Transfer Centers
As the landscape of Behavioral Health continues to transform and national crisis perplex the field, HRSA continues to identify resources to inform and provide opportunities for technical assistance to our awardees. Below is information on the Addiction Technology Transfer Centers (ATTC) a program through SAMHSA that develops and strengthens the specialized behavioral and primary healthcare workforce that provides substance use disorder treatment and recovery support services. The Regional Offices work under the National Coordinating Office to provide training and other resources aimed at improving the behavioral healthcare workforce’s ability to address substance use disorders, including opioid use disorders. HRSA has met with SAMHSA on different occasions to discuss opportunities to forge a relationship with the ATTC and the BHWET awardees. We believe forging this relationship is mutually beneficial for the ATTC, Educational Institutions, the trainees, the experiential sites as well as the communities that you are serving. Please review the attached overview of the ATTC program, visit the site http://attcnetwork.org/home/ and feel free to reach out to the Project Director for your region.
