A.06.24 – NPTC Organizational Structure

The administrative structure of NPTC includes a Board of Directors and a Training Committee. These two groups work in a system of shared governance to provide oversight, establish guidelines and policies, and implement the internship program. Board of Directors #

The Board of Directors consists of individuals voted upon by the Board and/or Training Directors from each region. Every three years during the Training Director Orientation, the Directors of each region vote on their Board representative. The Board of Directors meets on a quarterly basis to establish policy and govern the overall affairs of NPTC. The following are members of the Board for the current training year:

Robert Allred, Ph.D. (HealthPoint), Cascades Region Training Director Representative

Training Committee #

The Training Committee is responsible for managing the following:

• Assisting in the recruitment, selection, and placement of psychology interns and psychology residents.
• Overseeing implementation of grievance procedures.
• Assisting sites with complying with the rules and regulations of accrediting and regulatory bodies.
• Managing all other activities associated with the training sites and training.

Standing members of the committee include the Regional Training Director, the Vice President of Operations, the Regional DEI Consultant, and one representative from each active member site. In addition, NPTC psychology interns elect one to two interns during the first month of the training year to participate as members of the Training Committee.
